1. First and foremost, if you willing to write in Footage journal, all copyrights belongs to the respective writers. This is a free and open source journal of film and video in two forms of edition: online and print. We have a respective copyleft logo (you can see it by the end of every writings in the web). Footage journal only distribute your writings but anyone can downloaded them, as they will.

2. Writing for Footage journal is really simple actually, you just have to write and write.

3. But the main problems of your writings should be at the visual culture, film and video discourses (essentially).

4. You will be asks to write in the formulation that stated by Footage journal editor. There will be a grand theme in every edition of Footage journal.

5. There will be no max. length of writings, but since this is a journal, we appreacite if you willing to write in at least 12 pages with single space, in A4 paper, times new roman font (12), msword (RTF document).

6. Your writings will be presented in online or print edition, depends on the quality of your writings.

7. Footage journal editor will confirm you, whether your writings be presented in online or printed edition.

8. But, unfortunately, since Footage journal lack of money right now, we can’t afford to pay you, for your writings. So, we just ask for your kindhearted and openminded simplicity, simply for the development of the world’s visual (film and video) culture.

9. We also appreciate if any of you (individuals or institutions) willing to donate (in term of money, of course) for preservation of the journal.
